In 1961, Lookman Qadir founded Presto Industries and started manufacturing combs in 1977. With a powerful family lineage dedicated to the craft of combs, Presto Industries launched its first series of cellulose acetate combs. In 1995, the company embarked on a mission to create combs that were versatile throughout all hair styles, a comb which was 1-for-all. After years of research, development, product evaluation, testing, re-testing, looking at global hair textures and climatic conditions, Pegasus was born in 2012, the Company’s first hard rubber comb brand with Flexinite Technology.

Today, Presto Industries has grown its portfolio from combs and brushes to hair tools for hairdressing businesses and retail trade. Driven by a strong belief in technology and innovation, today personal and professional product lines are being expanded to surpass the highest international benchmarks.
