Metallic dust, I still feel the smoky, nutty, enveloping and warm aroma of fenugreek.

I'm sure of it, yet I doubt it.

I escape in a cocoon of Ambergris and Ambroxan, yet Oud and Patchouli still finds me, confusing me, surrounding me.

Pelle, Cipriolo and the inevitable animality of Costus recall me like irresistible sirens, like echoes of my past, of the past I flee from, of the past I am; yet I still feel in my heart the serene and angelic singing of Frankincense and Sandalwood, carried on Muscone's wings. I seem silent, inside I speak.
